Suspended RCCG Pastor, Idowu Iluyomade has opened his own Church in Lagos named The Family Fellowship.
The church is temporarily located in Civic Center in Victoria Island.
Pastor Iluyomade was a
former Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God – City of David Parish.
Recall RCCG Pastor was suspended over his wife’s lavish birthday party weeks after Herbert Wigwe demise.
It was also gathered that some old members from City of David, as well as new members attended the service. However, his wife, Pastor Mrs Siju Iluyomade was absent.
Speaking during the service, one of the church elders said they have been re-emphasizing to Pastor Id for months that it’s high time he got back to his ‘real self’ and not let the resources God deposited in him go to waste. He revealed plans to move to the church’s permanent site in a mater of months.
Pastor Idowu Iluyomade was suspended (for three months) in June by the hierarchy of the RCCG over allegations of misconduct and was later redeployed to the church’s headquarters. Pastor Iluyomade and his socialite wife Siju have kept low profiles since then, although they have made a few appearances at some social events lately.
