The family head of Oni-Orisan of Lagos Island, Epe Kingdom, Chief Mrs Modupe Olayimika Idowu together with Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family members has made an urgent call to the Lagos State government, commissioner of police, AIG Zone 2 and general public over the actions of Saheed Mosadoluwa fondly called ‘Ibile’ who has allegedly been sponsoring some junk stories in order to create unrest within Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family of Lagos Island and Epe environs.
The family of Oni-Orisan chieftaincy have been ignoring Ibile’s ranting and humiliation as another prompt steps had been taken to file a comprehensive petition dated and signed on 31st July, 2024 against him at the department of State Service, Lagos State command.
The entire Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family called for an urgent government/law enforcement agents intervention so as to put an end to the alleged illegal encroachment, humiliation, consistent harassment, intimidation and abysmal life threatening to Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family.
The family says: “We the Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family can boldly say that we didn’t know him from anywhere and we have never for once sold our family land to him, the only authentic buyer of our landed property that we know and still related with till date couple with a paper written agreement signed with a Memorandum of Understanding MOU to further develop our land still remains Aare Bashir Fakorede and if Saheed Mosadoluwa felt and believed he purchased a portion of Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family land should kindly pursue his claim to the former Family Head ‘Olori ebi ana’ Alhaji Moshood who boycotted the entire family to resold illegal land that earlier been sold since 2020 to Aare Bashir Fakorede.
“ Ibile who played to the former Family Head’s gallery out of his greediness to have fell trapped because as far as Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family is pretty concerned we didn’t know Saheed Mosadoluwa aka “Ibile” from anywhere because our land had been sold since 2020 with a valid conveyance document signed by the family so, how come Ibile would ignorantly been masquerading round, over the social media to claim what does not belong to him, what an abysmal behaviors from “Ibile” should channel his grievances to somewhere else and desist from our family as we jointly and consensusly say we don’t know you ‘Ibile’, kindly stay off our family landed property.
The attention of the entire family has been drawn with valid evidence on how Ibile and his thuggery has humiliated, beaten and abducted Chief Mrs Modupe Olayimika Idowu who’s the family head of Oni Chieftaincy of Lagos Island unlawfully also wounded two zone 2 police officers which were on a special duty/assignment inwhich aftermath of Ibile’s ugly public misbehavior he went ahead boasting that “no police officers can face or challenge his authority because some of the top rank officers are being placed on my payroll” .
Honestly, somebody like Saheed Mosadoluwa aka ‘Ibile’ shouldn’t been allowed walking majestically/freely on the streets of Lagos with all his past negative antecedents/atrocities he has committed so, going to a publication with unseen captioned to maligned an innocent people like Aare Bashir Fakorede and AIG Zone 2 with a myopic and misleading junks called report is totally but falsehoods and baseless report fabricated from the pit of hell as its met a brick wall, shallow and dead on arrival. It is undoubtedly a product of the imagination of the author.
We the Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family would like to put it straight to you from this press briefing held on Tuesday 13th 2024 and to officially debunked your purported Video, junks news which you used to libel Aare Bashir Fakorede and AIG Zone 2, we want to tell you officially, categorically and certainly that Aare Bashir Fakorede cannot, never be a land grabber like you because he followed family due process to acquired acres of land from us since 2020 with some valid paper documentation in which we the entire family of Oni-Orisan chieftaincy went further to signed an MOU with him to further develop our land.
Furthermore, we are not in any doubt that the genesis of your grievances and the publication lies on how you feel victim of former Family Head ‘Olori ebi ana’ Alhaji Moshood. Kindly follow-up with him to get your money back because he’s still very much alive.
It is also important to state clearly that we, Oni-Orisan chieftaincy family of Lagos Island Epe Kingdom are law abiding citizen, we have not at any point in time used or collude with any law enforcement agent to intimidate, harass or tortured any individual in respect of any issues since the existing of the family during the time and reigning of our forebears, much less in respect of land dispute. We would like to further state that we’re not and we will never exploit the office of the AIG Zone 2 in the harassment of any individual or group at any time and neither did we use same in this instance meanwhile, we have faced the same harassment, Public assaulted and intimidated from Saheed Mosadoluwa on our own land over our family’s properties.
We the entire family of Oni-Orisan chieftaincy of Lagos Island Epe Kingdom shall no longer be subjected to Ibile’s mockery and disdain as indicated earlier from their purported online publications. There is no doubt that all the allegations made in the said publications are not only false, vexatious and frivolous which have tainted the good image of the family, Aare Bashir Fakorede’s reputation together with AIG Zone 2 in the eyes of the right thinking Lagosians, members of the society who holds us/them in high esteem. Consequently, we have instructed the family lawyers with attached petition against”Ibile” to take up the matter officially by taking the appropriate legal action towards seeking the appropriate remedy and to clearly wared Ibile, his thuggery to stay clear off our landed property.
Lastly, the entire family awaits a prompt legal action against Ibile and his co travelers before we furnished conveyances documents to the general public.
